Frequently Asked Questions

The app does not open or closes unexpectedly

Please try the following:

1. Close HistroQuest completely and open it again.
2. Restart your device.
3. Check whether a newer version of HistroQuest is available in the App Store.
4. Make sure your device has sufficient free storage.
5. If the problem continues, contact support and include your device and app version.

Campaigns or chapters are not loading

HistroQuest requires an internet connection to load the campaign catalogue and download new content.

Please check your Wi-Fi or mobile data connection and try again. If a download remains unavailable, close and reopen the app. Previously downloaded content may remain available offline, depending on the campaign and download status.

A campaign download is interrupted

Check that your device has enough free storage and a stable internet connection. Then return to the campaign and restart the download.

If the problem continues, contact support and tell us which campaign and chapter are affected.

My Premium content is not unlocked

Make sure that you are using the same Apple Account that was used to purchase the subscription.

In HistroQuest, open the Premium or subscription screen and select “Restore Purchases.” Afterwards, close and reopen the app.

You will not be charged again when restoring an existing purchase.

How do I restore my purchases?

Open HistroQuest and navigate to the Premium or subscription screen. Select “Restore Purchases” and wait for the confirmation.

Purchases can only be restored with the Apple Account originally used to make them.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions purchased through the App Store are managed by Apple.

On your iPhone or iPad:

1. Open Settings.
2. Tap your name.
3. Tap Subscriptions.
4. Select HistroQuest.
5. Choose the desired option or tap Cancel Subscription.

Deleting the app does not automatically cancel an active subscription.

How do I request a refund?

Payments and refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple. You can submit a request at:

HistroQuest cannot directly issue refunds for purchases processed by Apple.

I cannot sign in with Apple or Google

Check your internet connection and try again. Make sure you complete the entire sign-in process and do not close the sign-in window early.

If you use Sign in with Apple and chose “Hide My Email,” your HistroQuest account may be connected to a private Apple relay address rather than your usual email address.

If the problem continues, contact support and tell us which sign-in method you used. Do not send us your password.

How do I delete my account?

You can permanently delete your HistroQuest account from within the app.

Open your profile or account settings, select “Delete Account,” and follow the displayed instructions.

Account deletion is permanent. Associated account information and saved progress will be deleted or anonymised in accordance with our legal obligations. An active App Store subscription must be cancelled separately through your Apple subscription settings.

If you cannot access the account-deletion function, contact support at support@histroquest.com.

Can I use HistroQuest offline?

An internet connection is required to sign in, verify purchases, view newly released campaigns, and download content. Content that has already been downloaded may be available offline.

Are new campaigns included in Premium?

An active HistroQuest Premium subscription provides access to the Premium campaigns and content offered within the app. New historical campaigns and chapters may be added over time.
